Frequently Asked Questions
At Le Harrell's Poodles in Falcon, Colorado, we specialize in raising health-tested Standard and Miniature Poodle puppies. Below are answers to the most common questions about pricing, availability, health testing, and our adoption process.
How much do your puppies cost?
Our standard poodle puppies are $2500, and our miniature poodle puppies are $2900. That price is for a pet, and does not include breeding rights. Breeding rights (full AKC registration) are discussed on a case by case basis. A $500 reservation fee is required to hold your spot on our list. This fee is applied to the balance at pickup.
How do you raise your puppies?
Puppies are raised in our living room with our family. We do not have a kennel facility or building for our puppies. We truly believe that to become a great family pet, life starts in the home. Puppies are desensitized to the sights and sounds of a busy home, including extensive handling and socialization. When old enough, puppies are introduced to the outdoors and started on potty training on our three-acre property. They are also introduced to the other animals as part of our socialization protocol. Puppies are introduced to grooming at 3 weeks of age, and weekly grooming continues until they go home. We introduce as many sights, sounds, and novel experiences as we can in the short time we have to shape the future of your baby!
